Description

Partner with Directors and managers cross-functionally to execute the payments partnerships and ecosystem strategy, growth drivers, and business plan, becoming an integral part of the organization and trusted advisor to the Global Payments Partnerships team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop specific product, partner, and ecosystem opportunities to deliver against product area goals and support growth objectives. Create written communications and presentations with messages tailored to different audience levels. Build trusted advisor relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Strategy and Operations team supports the commerce partnerships area in Knowledge and Information Partnerships. In this role, you will cover strategy and operations for Payments, covering Wallet, Google Pay/Ready-to-Pay, and first party platform products. You will drive strategic projects in collaboration with Business Development, Partnerships, and cross-functional teams like Product Managers/Engineering, Product Operations, Finance, and more.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Experience in the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.

Preferred qualifications: Experience with contributing to the development and execution of strategic initiatives, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive impact. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build consensus, as well as support relationships across key cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced results-oriented environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Ability to scope and execute projects with minimal supervision. Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to leverage insights to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Experience in the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.
