Description
Drive visual design and conceptual exploration for new, undefined product areas and innovative features across Google Workspace. Execute high-fidelity motion design and build interactive prototypes. Leverage modern Gen AI tools to accelerate the exploration, iteration, and visualization of new user experiences. Turn complex, future-facing concepts into compelling visual narratives and tangible artifacts that clearly communicate value. Partner closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to transition 0-to-1 concepts into actionable roadmaps. Advocate new design paradigms and innovations, effectively presenting and "selling" your goal to different teams to drive adoption and implementation.At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to leverage user insights and create industry-leading products.
As a Visual Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution. You will collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
In this role, you will be the creative engine behind our next-generation experiences, operating at the intersection of practical product implementation and innovation. We need a designer who grows in ambiguity, excels at exploratory ideation, and can make the abstract feel real to bring product teams along on the journey.

US: $236000 - $329000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product design or UX.Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications: Experience collaborating with and influencing product, engineering, and leadership teams to adopt new design directions. Experience utilizing modern generative AI tools and workflows to enhance and accelerate the design and prototyping process. Experience navigating complex enterprise or productivity ecosystems. Proficiency in motion design (e.g., After Effects, Principle, or similar) and building interactive prototypes. Proven ability to ideate rapidly and explore multiple conceptual directions. Exceptional visual storytelling and presentation skills.
