Description

Act as the technical authority bridging internal teams with external partners (vendors). Hold all parties accountable to complex milestones, mitigate integration risks, and ensure alignment with strict architectural standards. Own technical execution of major strategic rollouts and refine New Product Introduction (NPI) practices. Drive consistency and quality from concept through global deployment to impact organizational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Translate ambiguous scenarios into data-driven roadmaps and white papers. Provide executive visibility and technical authority across supply chain and engineering networks. Partner with engineering leads to define system architectures and expand automated solutions using AI/ML to solve problems. Lead by influence, mentoring team members and breaking down complex challenges while contributing to community initiatives to improve operations and culture.

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will act as a technical catalyst multiplier for the team, independently leading the end-to-end delivery of complex, strategic robotics programs. You will serve as the technical engine, diving into the details of system architectures and driving the day-to-day technical road map. A critical component of this role is stepping into highly matrixed, ambiguous relationships to drive technical direction across both internal and external engineering teams. You will play a pivotal role in refining our New Product Introduction (NPI) practices, ensuring we build and deploy high-quality robotic solutions strictly on time and within budget. You will lead by influence, leveraging AI/ML technologies to scale automated solutions, providing executive-level confidence, and mentoring junior TPMs on programmatic best practices.
