Description

Write product or system development code. Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

As a part of the BigQuery Trusted Platform team, your mission is to provide a reliable, easy-to-use operation and experimentation platform for the BigQuery organization, ensuring that the platform is compliant and secure by default. You will empower BigQuery developers to build and operate BigQuery with confidence, and help Google Cloud be the most secure and trusted cloud in the industry.

US: $147000 - $211000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting. Experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems. Experience with system design and reliability.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. Experience in Cloud operations or Intelligent Agent. Experience with change management.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting. Experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems. Experience with system design and reliability.
