Description
Define and execute the technical roadmap for integrating, validating, and optimizing various third-party enterprise applications on Google Distributed Cloud. Collaborate closely with Product Management, partner engineering teams, and external ISVs to understand customer requirements and deliver solutions. Drive the architectural design and implementation of platform features that enhance the security, reliability, performance, and manageability of ISV applications in distributed and potentially air-gapped environments. Communicate technical strategy and progress effectively to leadership and across organizational boundaries. Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing challenges related to running applications across varied and secure distributed environments.Google Cloud's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. Experience with Cloud compute platforms like Kubernetes, Cloud Functions.Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. Experience building highly reliable, performant, distributed cloud databases.
