Description
Develop robust technical processes to scale Cloud’s resource management. Maintain analytics to understand obscured problems, propose data-driven solutions, support proposed solutions, and own and manage the execution. Have stewardship of regional health of Cloud's availability zones across the globe. Manage complexity, cost, and risk in partnership with cross-functional stakeholder teams across SREs, Devs, PMs, Supply Chain, Planning and Efficiency. Manage hardware lifecycle for GCPs machines in both Google-owned Data Centers as well as Colocation facilities. Prioritize and manage capacity to ensure GCP's external customers can scale by ensuring the right type of machines are available in the right place at the right time.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in program or project management. Experience in capacity planning. Experience with technical environments such as google cloud.
Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Hardware or systems background to understand how technology changes influence our ability to grow. Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain management. Knowledge of the tools and elements of project management. Firm sense of accountability and ownership for the end-to-end project lifecycle. Ability to use project management techniques to drive physical or development tasks to completion. Aptitude for quantitative assessment and analysis across multiple technical disciplines.
