Description

Work with Product Managers on the Silicon team, Google DeepMind, and Google Research to understand future ML models and explore co-design opportunities for efficient on-device ML.

Work with Pixel and various Google app teams to understand emerging use cases that will leverage AI and bring transformative experiences to users.

Prioritize Customer User Journeys/Workloads/Models and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and goals to enable the Silicon Engineering team for analysis and solution exploration.

Support the changing silicon and memory technology trends related to ML and bring insights to help build novel ML solutions on device.

Work with marketing, engineering, legal, and multiple cross-functional teams for product and feature launches enabled with Google Tensor.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The team builds Google Tensor custom system-on-chip (SoC) that powers Pixel devices. Tensor makes transformative user experiences possible through machine learning, Gemini, and running on-device. As the Senior Product Manager, you will define the next generation SoCs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Experience with one or more aspects of Machine Learning (ML) acceleration such as: silicon architecture, design, ML compilers, tools/infrastructure, ML models, etc.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience leading cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and drive innovation into consumer products.

Experience with mobile computing constraints, operating systems, software frameworks/tools and software development life-cycles.

Experience with solving challenges of heterogeneous compute.

Knowledge of tradeoffs between performance, power, and area in chip design. Excellent communication skills to advocate and influence initiatives with key stakeholders and executive management.



Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
