Description
Be the commercial strategist for critical agreements, advising on the right product mix for customers and driving the right economics for the Storage business. Own the engagement with a range of customers to understand their capacity needs, pain-points as well as work with them to optimize their Storage footprints. Partner across Capacity Planning, Product and Engineering teams to align capacity planning and ordering workflows, ensuring product launches and GTM efforts are backed by seamless capabilities to deliver for our customers. Develop an understanding of the industry and emerging participants such as neoclouds are radically changing the infrastructure-as-a-service space and ensure our sustained leadership in this industry.At Google, we put our users first. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

We own the capacity optimization for Google's Storage portfolio of products across the Technical Infrastructure layers of the stack all the way to Google Cloud Platform. In this role, you will work closely with several teams to build products that make our customers. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). 2 years of experience in Cloud storage and the overall public cloud ecosystem including customer requirements, market trends, competitive positioning.
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership. 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
1 year of experience in technical leadership.
Extended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
