Description

Define new, innovative products in the ad tech ecosystem, in close collaboration with engineering and partner teams. Partner with the YouTube TV, Partner Sales PM team and YouTube Ads Infrastructure team to develop YouTube Ads' external integration strategy and building, standards-based, privacy-safe, policy-compliant and reusable integrations with YouTube's partners.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that YouTube Ads is aligned with Google’s overarching Ads strategy. Driving advertiser/partner activation and scaling adoption.

Set team objectives (OKRs) and leading launches with measurable impact for partners, advertisers, users and Google.

Lead and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Legal, Privacy, Go-to-Market organisation to take Infrastructure and Integration Products and APIs to market; developing internal and external sales narratives.

As the video landscape expands, the platform is transitioning from a creator-led offering primarily for desktop and mobile to one available on novel devices and fresh experiences with an expanding stable of content affiliates. This role will direct forays into emerging frontiers and unite with cross-functional allies on the next wave of monetization formats, interfaces, and commercial frameworks.

This unit represents the quickest-expanding segment of the company's commercial portfolio. Shape the next generation of foundational systems, navigating technical complexities across distributed networks while balancing multiple facets of the marketplace spanning channel creators, viewers, publishers, brands, regulators, and industry vendors.Google Ads is at the forefront of AI innovation, applying cutting-edge machine learning and Generative AI models like Gemini to power a multi-billion dollar global business.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). 2 years of experience as a Product Manager with Ads Platforms.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree (MBA or MS) in a technology (e.g., Computer Science) or business-related field.

7 years of experience in Product Management developing product goals, product strategy, PRDs, product roadmap(s), and driving go-to-market strategy. 3 years of experience in marketing, business operations, or delivering technical presentations to executive Technical Leads. Strong technical background working with internet-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, and APIs.

Strong collaboration skills to drive complex initiatives across matrixed, cross-functional teams.

Creativity and comfort with new and uncharted opportunities, entrepreneurial drive, perseverance, and a proactive style to drive cross-functional initiatives forward.



Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
