Description

Support PRDs by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements.

Define product roadmaps by operationalizing defined strategy.

Articulate defined product goal in a way that captures attention and compels others to drive action despite obstacles and competing priorities.

Validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, revenue). Identify opportunities in the market landscape.

Facilitate launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

The Storage team is a critical part of Google Infrastructure as well as GCP. It is responsible for providing core Storage products in Cloud like Cloud Storage, File Solutions, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Storage Management and Data Transfer Solutions. This team is also responsible for the Storage infrastructure that is the foundation for all of Google including products like Google Search, Ads, YouTube, Photos, Workspace,

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). Experience in Cloud storage and the overall public cloud ecosystem including customer requirements, market trends, competitive positioning.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a Technology or Business related field. 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).

2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.

2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

1 year of experience in software development or engineering.

Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices, and experience/curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.



Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
