Description
Maintain the single source of truth for platform capabilities, road maps, on-boarding documentation, and intake processes to drive domain-wide efficiency. Partner with systems teams to synthesize disparate tracks, interfacing between product and engineering to align business priorities with technical dependencies. Drive complex, multi-phased deliveries safely while managing risks, high-stakes escalations, schedules, and budgets. Apply deep technology stack and construction life-cycle knowledge, from initial design to final invoicing, to improve predictability across workflows. Collaborate across global business teams, software engineers, and construction leads to establish immediate credibility and ensure frictionless delivery.Google owns and operates submarine networks all over the world, helping to keep the internet running 24/7. Google Submarine Networks (GSN) leads the design, construction, operations, and maintenance of the subsea portfolio. The systems team's aim is to deliver innovative and scalable operations system solutions that enable data-driven decisions and optimize the design, construction and operations of Google submarine Infrastructure globally.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) and Domain Lead, you will be the strategic lead of the operations systems and process solutions that power Google’s global submarine infrastructure. You will bridge the gap between complex business process, construction life cycle, operational support and the digital platforms that enable them.
You will be responsible for driving multi-year digital transformation initiatives (such as contact life cycle management and operations/business support system evolution) and establishing the governance frameworks that ensure our technology road maps align with Google’s rapid infrastructure growth as well as security requirements.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience as a key contributor in building enterprise-class technology systems through the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). 8 years of experience in technical program management, managing all phases of a project.Preferred qualifications: Program management experience in redefining the process, designing business solutions through lean project management. Experience leading complex software implementations across global and cross-functional teams, particularly around infrastructure projects. Ability to work with engineering for product implementation to successfully deliver business tools and systems in a dynamic environment.
