Description
Partner with cross-functional leadership to identify new global GCP region opportunities, executing end-to-end financial blueprints, profit and loss modeling, and infrastructure cost analyses to enable successful market entries. Guide annual data center target-setting aligned with Sales and Product revenue plans, delivering deep quarterly financial diligence and performance reports to leadership. Conduct geospatial bench marking against top hyperscalers and integrate market trends (e.g., AI infrastructure, energy costs) to refine long-term forecasting models and support investor narratives. Modernize finance workflows by leveraging AI tools to automate agreement modeling, region-level revenue/margin forecasting, and the mitigation of structural financial risks.Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

Within Geo Expansion Finance, we oversee new product launches, data center launch planning, and long range planning for existing infrastructure (including Google sites, third-party sites, and networking infrastructure), and more.
We are an integral partner and strategic advisor to the Cloud leadership team, advising on how to invest resources to grow a strong and sustainable business.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $116000 - $167000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree. Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.Preferred qualifications: Experience in cloud infrastructure finance, hyperscaler capacity planning, or data center economics. Experience utilizing AI-driven forecasting tools to automate workflows. Track record of partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and leadership. Ability to build end-to-end financial blueprints (Profit and Loss, TCO models) and manage Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.
