Description
Facilitate cross-functional workstreams to analyze capacity constraints and cost drivers for customer agreements. Develop models to forecast customer demand and profitability. Partner with engineering, technical infrastructure (TI), and product management (PM) to analyze the performance and total cost of ownership (TCO) for artificial intelligence (AI) product stock keeping units (SKUs), incorporating these insights into customer proposals. Work alongside capacity, TI, and PM to develop cost insights for the new product introduction (NPI) roadmap based on macroeconomic commodity prices.Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree. Experience with executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.Preferred qualifications: Experience streamlining cross-functional activities into processes. Knowledge of Google’s technical infrastructure, AI/ML hardware, and the economics behind the investments needed to support AI/ML demand.
