Description
Lead, inspire, and build a healthy and scalable organization of Technical Program Managers drawn from several parts of the business, with a goal of driving predictable outcomes for our customers and business. Partner with senior leadership, engineering, and product managers to ensure alignment with engineering and product priorities. Oversee the acquisition, preparation, and lifecycle management of GPU and TPU resources across multiple supply channels. Lead supply management for established and emerging hardware types, coordinating strategic integration within the Vertex fleet. Drive allocation and resource utilization strategies to maximize fleet impact while balancing operational efficiency.As part of the Google Cloud AI organization, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative organization that is shaping the future of AI, driving significant business value for our customers, and making AI accessible to Developers and Enterprises.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $281000 - $391000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience managing technical projects, with experience in cloud or AI-driven industries. 10 years of experience leading teams within technical program management or engineering management or equivalent roles. Experience with the domain area of Generative AI, Large Language Models, Agents, and AI Workflow tools. Experience leading capacity, utilization, efficiency, and model deployment efforts.Preferred qualifications: Experience with enterprise programs and cloud technologies. Comfort with changing specifications or standards, and experience creating the conditions in which the team feels comfortable and capable of working through in response to ambiguity. Technical expertise in systems and software with the leadership skills needed to influence technical leaders across the company. Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal. Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and organizational skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that drive executional impact at scale.
