Description
Oversee a global field training operation that educates strategic partners through events and in-person learning sessions.Provide strategic guidance and input on the creation of training assets, including instructor-led training presentations, online learning courses, and educational videos, and oversee worldwide distribution of training content.
Meet frequently with executive sales and training leaders at partner organizations to gather their feedback and understand what they need to be successful. Travel semi-frequently, including to international offices.
Track key enablement impact metrics, including completion rates, knowledge uplift, participant satisfaction, and product Net Promoter Score, and tie them to broader business outcomes.
Collaborate with executive internal cross-functional stakeholders across Partnerships, Product, Marketing, and Strategy and Operations, to ensure that enablement programs are an essential part of a holistic go-to-market strategy.
The Platforms and Devices Partner Enablement team empowers partners to successfully sell and support devices that deliver the best of Google. We collaborate closely with manufacturers, carriers, and retailers to deliver product training, go-to-market assistance, and customer support consultation. We also channel partner feedback to internal teams.
In this role, you'll lead a comprehensive education and advocacy program to help global partners sell/deploy Android phones to enterprise customers. Overseeing an online learning academy, large-scale partner events, and in-person field training, you'll closely monitor the impact of these initiatives. Your goal is to ensure strategic partners (e.g., carriers, manufacturers, enterprise mobility management providers, etc.) are knowledgeable about Android Enterprise, recommend Android devices to their customers, and can easily manage those devices.
Leveraging your training expertise, mobile phone industry background, and passion for Android, you'll create engaging, memorable enablement experiences that drive lasting outcomes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure your efforts align with the broader business strategy and reach the widest possible audience.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience in enablement, business development, or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications: 7 years of experience in the mobile phone industry. Familiarity with device sales/deployment and experience working with ecosystem partners, including carriers, manufacturers, or enterprise mobility management providers.
Experience building and executing dynamic training programs.
Experience working cross-functionally with large sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams, from individual contributors to executives.
Ability to deliver high-impact results independently in complex and dynamic environments.
Exceptional networking skills, with the ability to establish and influence relationships with partners at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and public speaking abilities.
