Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Transportation Analyst (Level 3) to join our Global Warehousing & Logistics (GWL) Transportation team in Des Moines, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

Promotes a safe work environment and upholds safe work practices, reflecting Boeing's Value of Safety & Quality

Plans and executes domestic and export shipments in compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations, ensuring all documentation and procedures meet legal and organizational standards

Engages collaboratively with the team to achieve business goals, ensuring alignment with Boeing's strategic objectives and positively contributing to Boeing’s priorities and strategy

Complies with export regulations and export processes

Initiates loss and damage claims to carriers and supports claims investigations

Fosters and promotes an environment of continuous improvement; address concerns through systematic problem-solving, reflecting Boeing's values of Trust, Ownership, Innovation and People Focus

Identifies work statement changes and capacity surges, ensuring operational efficiency and timely completion of established goals

Supports the development Statements of Work to secure cost-effective transportation services

Proposes changes to standardized work to improve processes, demonstrating a proactive approach to enhancing efficiency and ownership of outcomes

Supports transportation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with organizational goals

Investigates and performs root cause analysis on complex logistics initiatives and recommends business solutions relating to transportation and logistics practices, processes and procedures

Develops and cultivates relationships with service providers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers and business partners for collaborative solutions

Demonstrates strength in taking complex business challenges and creating and executing streamlined solutions

Drives and manages organizational integration and change management with positive results

Navigates through complex situations and drives to efficient, effective and timely solutions

Partners with leaders across multiple teams to develop logistics strategy to meet organizational objectives

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience in Domestic and International Supply Chain Logistics

More than 3 years of experience working with import and export licenses and regulations for maintaining compliance with transportation regulations for international and domestic shipments

More than 3 years of experience with enterprise shipping systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

More than 3 years of experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence

More than 3 years of experience in project management

More than 3 years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: FTL, LTL, International & Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel

More than 3 years of experience with BESSy (Boeing Enterprise Shipping System)

More than 3 years of experience leading teams through process and change management

More than 1 years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership

Summary pay range: $87,550.00 – $118,450.00.
