Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer to support the AECS team in Seattle, Washington.

The Airplane Environmental Control Systems (AECS) lab provides a complete range of development and certification testing services supporting key deliverables for defense and commercial programs.

In the AECS, this engineering role provides test setups, equipment and support to meet requirements for testing commonly involving environmental control systems and smoke detection systems.

Other testing includes moisture management, thermal cycling chambers, rapid decompression, vacuum systems and potable water systems, as well as custom one-of-a-kind test setups.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Experienced level Test & Evaluation Engineer.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Support the development and verification of test methods

Develop detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan

Design test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements

Use analytical tools to verify the design

Analyze, process, and format data to customer requirements

Review test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer

Prepare and publish test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements

Present test results internally

Archive data and reports

Train others

Work under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Experience in the development of test system requirements and verification methodologies

Experience with Test Program design, test procedure development, and test execution

Experience utilizing analytical and design tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 2: 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree

CATIA and LabVIEW expertise

Summary pay range Associate Level: $101,650 - $128,400

Summary pay range Experienced Level: $124,450 - $157,200
