Find your future with us.The Boeing Global Services (BGS) seeking an Experienced Support Engineering Data Specialist to join the KC-46 Provisioning Support team, based in Seattle, WA.
In this role you will develop, analyze, collect, and store various system support technical data elements and specification to evaluate and make recommendations. You will provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems. You will apply engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to support product support engineering and analysis to ensure supportability, sustainability, reliability, maintainability and operability of products and services throughout its lifecycle. You will identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report. You will determine spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under a single contract type. You will prepare and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components. You will review and evaluate aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability for a single airline customer, aircraft type and system specialty.

Experience with systems engineering integration of PLM and sustainment/logistics systems, and familiarity with sustainment analytics, readiness drivers, and lifecycle cost considerations are highly desirable. This position offers exposure to a broad range of technical disciplines across the entire product lifecycle and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact sustainment initiatives that connect engineering design to product support and services.
Position Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operationsProvides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks and support resourcesDevelops support systems to achieve supportability requirementsIdentifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reportsDetermines spares provisioning requirements and establishes recommendation for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stockingWrites and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems and/or componentsEvaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 + years of experience working with aerospace industry specifications and standards, part and/or process requirements3+ years of experience gathering, preparing, and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle3 + years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associate or Bachelor’s degree1 + years’ experience working in a structured logistics database (such as SLICWave or PowerLOG-J)1+ years of experience in ProvisioningExperience working with multi-functional teams/organizations, suppliers, and customersExperience working with or supporting military aircraftExperience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment
