Boeing Enterprise Services Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) is looking for highly a motivated and passionate Senior Supply Chain Contracting Specialist to join their team in either Mesa, AZ; Heath, OH; Huntsville, AL; Englewood, CO; Huntington Beach, CA; Kings Mountain, NC; Hazelwood, MO; El Segundo, CA; Albuquerque, NM; Renton, WA; Dallas, TX; Titusville, FL; Everett, WA; Plano, TX; Arlington, VA; Ridley Park, PA; New Orleans, LA; North Charleston, SC; Oklahoma City, OK; or Seattle, WA.

This individual contributor will be a critical member of our Center of Expertise (COE) team and will provide contracting and negotiation subject matter expertise as well as take the lead in standing up a Contracting community of practice (CoP) to help enable our organization to continuously improve our source to pay (S2P) experience for our suppliers, business partners, and procurement team. This high visibility role will focus on creating an industry leading organizational strategy and execution framework focused around contracting, terms and conditions and contract structure which will support our mission to deliver simpler, faster, and better outcomes across Indirect Supply Chain at Boeing.

Position Responsibilities:

Establish and lead ISC Contracting Community of Practice (CoP)- provide leadership and subject matter expertise to leverage industry best practices around contracting (ie terms and conditions redlining and structure)Develop and lead training activities related to ISC terms, proformas and negotiations best practices to build a high degree of professionalism, effectiveness, and competency across Indirect Supply ChainProvide training to internal customers on a variety of ISC contracts issuesDraft and maintain forms/templates for a variety of supply-chain agreements for ISC, including detailed negotiation position documentsManage supply-side legal operations and processes for indirect procurement, including template agreements, playbooks and back-off positions, supply contract database and contract activity monitoring and metricsAct as prime ISC liaison to key enterprise stakeholder organizations (legal, compliance, etc.)Act as the prime project manager (PM)/focal for future state Contracting Lifecycle Management tool deployment and implementation to support S2P optimization (ie clause library design)Develop a modern industry-based operating model that aligns and supports indirect commodity contract terms and conditions expertiseReport and present updates and outcomes of improvement initiatives and related activities to executive leadershipSeek out best practices across other business unit (BU) supply chain teams to share and implement across the organization

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

10+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance10+ years of experience in negotiation and contracting processes5+ years of experience writing, drafting, or editing contract documents5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership5+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of Indirect Supply Chain experienceLegal/advanced degree (masters, Juris Doctor (JD), etc.)Stakeholder Leadership Skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross functional teams to pursue continuous improvementCoaching & mentoring skills to develop contracting and negotiation competenciesExperience using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools (ie Icertis)

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $110,500-$172,500
