The Boeing ODA team is looking for a Senior Multi-Family Manager to join the team in Seatle, WA
This is a Senior Manager role for the Seattle/Renton Inspection Unit with responsibilities for BT&E Labs and Flight Test. This position supports 737 Program Factory through Delivery Center.
Primary responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.undefined
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seattle, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
5+ years of experience do you have in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry3+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment5+ years of experience working directly with the FAA
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Bachelor degree5+ years of experience working with FAA-ODA Inspection Unit MembersExperience leading or supporting activities to attract, develop, and/or retain talentExperience in either airplane development program processes or airplane programs products and processesExperience facilitating commercial aviation industry best practices for operations, training & safetyExperience with Customer interfacing responsibilities – understanding business requirements, laying out product, service solutions and roadmaps and handling critical issue resolutionsExperience interfacing and communicating with business leadership, including C-level executivesSenior leadership experience reviewing, approving and implementing process, budgeting, equipment and service plans to maximize productivity and ensure safety, security, environmental and regulatory complianceExperience in project/program management in the aviation industryExperience developing and implementing strategic communications plans, including digital strategy, publishing and metricsFlight line experienceA&P License
