Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Experienced (Level 3)Product Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Innovation team in Seattle, WA or Everett, WA. This position is responsible for ensuring security, safety, and resiliency of all digitally-connected, in-service BCA airplanes with the development and support of system developments, methods, and tools. Primary responsibilities:
Assesses risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of the product assets and production systems in accordance with accepted industry, professional, and government standards to ensure security design integrity, availability, confidentiality, and regulatory complianceDevelops security requirements and coordinate with different systems stakeholdersDevelops technical data and documentation in accordance with requirements and system security engineering processes and procedures for internal reference and external deliveryCoordinates with penetration testers to validate coverage and impacts to analysisDevelops & reviews certification artifacts under guidance of FAA and Engineering Unit MembersDevelops effective and innovative technical solutions with an awareness of consequences of judgements individually and through teamsPerforms / leads the development, implementation, and communication of sustainment activities to ensure continued product security, safety, and resiliency of digitally-connected, in-service airplanesOversees configuration management and security of data, networks, and resources used to ensure continued product security and resiliency of in-service models
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement5+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security and/or cybersecurity
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Experience in engineering discipline(s) (e.g., electrical, mechanical, software engineering) applied to product related systems (e.g., aircraft, avionics systems) throughout the product development life cycle, from concept development to deploymentExperience in systems engineering and/or airplane configuration integrationExperience in computing equipment and its operating systems (e.g. Windows, Unix, Linux, and Open Source Tools)Experience with Vulnerability assessment and/or Penetration testExperience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting resultsCertified Application Security Engineer (CASE), Security+, a CISSP certification, or equivalent Cyber Security certification (CISSP preferred)
