The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Product Data Management Specialist (Configuration Management – Engineering) to support engineering, business and other data/deliverables for the P-8 Program.

This BDS position reports to the P-8 Configuration Management Team as part of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.

The P-8 is a high-visibility, advanced commercial derivative military aircraft program supporting the U.S. Navy and international customers. As a Product Data Management Specialist, you will regularly be working and interacting with the program teams, other divisions, various customers and/or suppliers.

Position Responsibilities:

Maintain ownership and execute configuration/change management processes, including change auditsEvaluate, lead, and maintain the coordination of proposed engineering change processingPerform non-technical comprehension checks of engineering/other data to verify that the change data meets requirementsPrepare, review, and understand contract deliverables and internal data in support of the various program teams. The data supports multiple disciplines, teams, suppliers and/or customersVerify/support change development, deliveries, and follow on actionsCollaborate with and advise fellow internal stakeholders on configuration management principles and best practicesMonitor change impact assessments and engineering release deadlines to achieve preferred outcomeFacilitate and coordinate meetings as necessary, including tracking of action completenessMaintain delivery schedules for contractual/other program data

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Level 2: 3+ years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 3: 5+ years of related work experienceAbility to work collaboratively with engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and suppliers in support of contract deliverables, internal data and product deliveryExperience in the use of Windchill and/or other similar tools for managing, processing or releasing data in support of contract deliverables, internal needs and product deliveryKnowledge and work experience in configuration management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Pay Summary:

Level 2: $77,350-$104,650

Level 3: $96,050-$129,950

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
