Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent Manager to join our Interiors Contracts and Sourcing Group team in Everett, Washington.

Responsibilities include oversight of Procurement Agents performing activities related to committing company resources to the procurement of products related to the BCA Interiors Category, specifically, development of bid packages, proposal analyses, and the planning, development, negotiation, execution and administration of contracts, including new and follow-on supplier contracts, cost recoveries and assertions. Additionally, knowledge of Supply Chain Operations Management (supplier performance including the administration of quality, delivery, and rate readiness requirements to support multiple Boeing Programs) is desired.

The Manager also develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures, and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives. The Manager develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with suppliers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports, and provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees in accordance with Boeing Values and Behaviors.

Our teams are currently hiring a (Level K) Procurement Agent Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts.Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete this assessment will remove you from consideration.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

5+ years of experience managing vendors, contracts, and/or working with supply chain processes or systems5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management and Supply Chain Planning5+ years of experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions3+ years of experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to influence senior leaders, present complex technical/organizational matters clearly, and lead high-stakes discussionsCandidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
