Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join the team in Renton, WA or Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join The Boeing Company in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team for 737 Field Operations within the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, the successful applicant will help provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes.
Plans and conducts health and safety audits.
Support production operations through identification and mitigation of risk.
Interfacing with various organizations and departments.
Participate in incident investigations.
Identify and develop corrective action plans to respond to internal/external audits and inspections.
Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
1+ year of experience in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
1+ year of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
Experience with decorative paint operations
Experience evaluating and supporting work-at-height activities, including a strong understanding of fall protection systems, fall hazard assessments, applicable regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Experience developing and implementing process improvements
Experience with Enablon

Summary Pay Range: $88,400 - $119,600
