The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Versatile Technologist to join the team in Seattle, WA.

The selected candidate’s primarily focused on technical support for our Field Services Business Unit which includes laptop and phone refreshes, software installation and general troubleshooting. While this role is based in the United States (US), the role will be supporting Boeing employees around the world.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture

Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems

Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems

Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements

Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning

Travels for business as needed

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2016 - 2019 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 10

3+ years of experience in integrating hardware and software components into a functional system

3+ years of experience in all aspects of Windows Desktop administration (e.g. application and services, troubleshooting, application configuration, networking, user accounts, Active Directory and/or security)

3+ years of experience with customer support

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher

Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)

5+ years of experience troubleshooting operating system and installation problems

3+ years of experience with File Share Provisioning

1+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $94,350 – $127,650
