Insitu has an immediate contract need for an Mechanical Technician to support our MRO team and work between our Bingen, WA and The Dalles, OR sites. Role will be responsible for:

Performing all modular assembly, repair and troubleshooting tasks. May develop prototype modules or equipment. Plans, assigns and validates work of others.Perform pilot build of new products and documents procedural and texturing requirements for manufacturing application. Analyze and diagnose faults in the operational configurations of electronic systems and equipment.Interprets circuit wiring, logic cable diagrams, drawings, specifications and schematics of complete systems and equipment and performs troubleshooting. Tests and evaluates aircraft systems, and secondary test and support equipment. Assists in defining test parameter and analyzing test results. Coordinates the availability of equipment and facilities to support test projects.Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.Reviews and completes business and required documentation.

Required Education & Experience:

High School diploma or comparable and 6 years of related experience.Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities and data needed for defining delivery configurations.Ability to differentiate production processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements.Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design).Ability to working 100% onsite in Bingen, WA and/or The Dalles, OR.
