Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the KC-46A program to join in Everett, WA on first shift, but can be required to support other shifts based on business needs. This position will support variable shifts.

Position Responsibilities:

Interfaces with all KC-46 Finishing Center operations teams, functional support organizations, multiple management levels including executive to help team:Implement, teach, coach and model Boeing Production System (BPS) and Incident and Injury Free (IIF) standards for the KC-46 Finishing Center team.Develop lead and execute project and process improvement plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.Oversee staffing acquisition process for the Finishing Center.Oversee resource acquisition process for Finishing Center improvement projects.Meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.Collaborates, develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, functional support core teams, peers, partners, and direct reports.Manages, develops and motivates employees.Promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that fosters safety and quality performance, improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.Forecasts resource needs, obtains and manages personnel, facilities, equipment and tools to meet operating requirements.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing working with assembly processes and proceduresExperience in teaching, coaching and developing othersProficient utilizing the Microsoft Office SuiteExperience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in an operations environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Ability to work any shift (1st or 2nd shift only)KC-46 experienceExperience implementing Boeing Production System (BPS) standards as part of a teamKnowledge/use of the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Rapid Systematic Problem Solving (RSPS) model

Summary Pay Range: $103,700 – $140,300
