The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Loadable Software Process Engineer (Mid-level, Senior) to join our team located in Everett, WA or Seattle, WA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airlines.

The development of loadable software standards is necessary to support the large-scale integration of loadable software across the commercial aviation industry. These standards provide common direction, terminology, and key interface requirements for BCA, suppliers, and airlines. For all industry members, loadable software standards offer increased compatibility and interoperability in airplane architecture, system design, processes, tools, and software design. These benefits translate into reduced costs, shorter workflow times, increased reliability, and improved safety. However, ignoring or misunderstanding loadable software requirements can result in costly and unintended consequences.

The selected candidate analyzes engineering design, manufacturing and product support requirements and applies industry standard analysis methods and techniques to continuously improve and optimize solutions for complex engineering and manufacturing processes throughout the value stream. They will develop and implement program transition plans to improve existing processes and optimize the effective application of new tool technology. The candidate will analyze specific product configurations and requirements for completeness and functional, physical, build & support integration status.
