Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (EHS) to join the team in SeaTac, WA.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic EHS team within Boeing Global Services (BGS). This position will play a crucial role in supporting our Supply Chain operations, in the United States (US). The primary role for this position will be to partner with our ware Seattle distribution center and site leadership team to manage EHS programs, mitigate risks, and drive a positive safety culture.
Position Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
Collects and analyzes data related to injuries, incidents, and near misses
Identifies trends, measures effectiveness of interventions, and makes data-driven recommendations for continuous improvements
Plans and conducts health and safety audits and develop corrective action plan to respond to any findings
Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations
Collaborative Partnership:
Works closely with cross-functional teams, including operation managers to ensure EHS principles and safety programs are integrated into operational processes and decision-making
Injury Prevention:
Collaborates with our operation teams and safety contacts to develop and implement proactive strategies to prevent work related injures
Training and Educations:
Develops and provides training and instructions
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
10+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
10+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk
3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
Travel up to 20%
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with safety and health audits
Experience in risk evaluation, solution development, and implementation
Experience in engineering tools and technological innovations
Experience with policies and systems
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $107,950 - $146,050
