BR&T is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team in Auburn, WA.

Be responsible for developing and growing a team of engineers who are dedicated to creating cutting-edge automation solutions.
Lead the shaping and transition of Boeing’s robotic laser systems into the production system leveraging advanced technologies such as big data analytics, industrial and collaborative robots, and digital twins.
Lead the successful capturing of government Contracted Research and Development (CRAD) projects where the pace of these projects requires an entrepreneurial approach to understand their needs and develop custom solutions that meet and exceed their expectations.
Lead the design, test and development of automated systems and collaborate in the transition from the lab into the production system.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the team.
Drive a culture of quality and technical excellence, ensuring that our products and services are of the highest standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement cutting-edge automation solutions.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Manage a BR&T Assembly Automation Lab.

Position Responsibilities:Manages employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is for 100% on site. The selected candidate will be required to perform all of the work onsite at the listed location.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
7+ years in an Engineering job classification
Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):MBA or master’s in engineering management or equivalent preferred
Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
Software development and cloud computing experience
Composite fabrication experience
Knowledge of composite and/or metal wing assembly methodologies
Knowledge of machine/motion control methodologies
Knowledge of automated machine/cell commissioning
Experience developing automation work proposals for government entities
