The Boeing Company is seeking an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing large-scale test systems that are similar to bread board versions of the electronics installed on an airplane. The objective of these systems is to verify the electrical design of the suite of electrical equipment installed on an airplane prior to installation. Design issues found and fixed in the lab translate into huge downstream cost savings for the company and help make our products safe.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Electrical Design and Analysis Engineers.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products

Develop detailed designs of limited scope

Conduct various methods of testing and analysis to support design

Gather data for technical performance measures and performs basic analysis

Provide basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product

Conduct trade studies and literature research to support future product designs

Work under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

1 or more years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

Experience in the use of computer-aided design and simulation tools

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution

Summary pay range Associate: $98,600 - $133,400

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $119,850 - $162,150
