The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Compliance Specialist to join their team in Tukwila, WA. This individual will work closely with BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplanes) Quality, primarily through the BCA Regulatory and Quality System Oversight (RQSO) organization, in a dotted-line capacity to support compliance risk monitoring and proactive compliance risk management. This role will be responsible for representing Corporate Compliance and will assist Quality with a variety of compliance-related projects, analysis, and priority risk mitigation activities.

Successful candidates will be able to:

Work on a daily basis with RQSO and other quality organizations and employees to support the implementation of a healthy and proactive risk management program

Support alignment and integration efforts for Boeing’s Quality Management System (QMS)-related risk management and Safety Risk Management

Fully understand Boeing’s quality obligations from a regulatory, statutory and agency standpoint. Work with Global Compliance and Law Department teammates to monitor, analyze, and provide risk information updates associated with regulatory changes, identified risks, regulator (e.g., FAA) communications, including Letters of Investigation, internal audit findings, or other risk-related developments

Translate compliance obligations and risks into key metrics and key performance indicators that monitor the compliance health of the QMS, work with teams on mitigation efforts and process improvements

Provide regular insights from risk monitoring and management activities and be able to report targeted, clear status around QMS compliance for an executive audience

Support the tracking of commitments and actions from the Boeing Comprehensive Product Safety and Quality Plan submitted to the FAA as needed and assess the status of the execution plan. Ensure Global Compliance leadership is well informed on current status of plan

Support Quality teams with risk management, including root cause analysis, data analysis, and risk mitigation projects. Provide leadership for corrective/preventative action plans to assure timely completion

Support BDS and BGS quality compliance risk management activities as necessary, including sharing best practices or supporting common risk mitigation strategies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in Boeing quality, manufacturing or equivalent

5+ years of experience working with risk management, regulatory and compliance topics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Strong network and knowledge of current BCA Quality operations and processes

Ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels, skilled at working alone or in coordination with partner functions.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range: $136,850-$185,150
