Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security organization is seeking a SeniorCompliance Analyst to join the Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers team in Tukwila, WA.
The selected candidate will support Manufacturing Operations by developing ground operations procedures and ensuring compliance with Boeing policies and contractual requirements. The selected candidate will be expected to fully integrate with Manufacturing Operations and other functional support organizations and apply process management, process improvement, and control structure modeling techniques. The candidate should have the ability to develop strong working relationships with various personnel/organizations including Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Flight Operations and the DCMA. The candidate should be self-directed, possess the ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple and complex tasks, and be familiar with root cause and corrective action processes. This position requires experience with DCMA Instruction 8210.1 and related service guidance.
Position Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain ground operations procedures.Regularly review the ground operations procedures, manuals, service guidance, and command media which have impact on the performance of aircraft ground operations.Perform compliance assessments of production areas and flight line. Serve as a FOD focal supporting the FOD prevention program, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and developing supporting processes.Support ground safety incident and accident prevention activities.Facilitate ground operational risk assessments via analyses, surveys, audits and monitoring of ground operations.Be aware of contract requirements and updates to DFARS 252.228-7001 Ground and Flight Risk and DCMA Instruction 8210.1 and participate in technical review of contracts.Ensure ground safety is included on the technical review distribution for all programs having flight line activity.Provide ground operations procedure representation at meetings, councils, and review boards addressing ground operations or other aviation risk issues.Interface with the Environmental, Health and Safety organization to provide a comprehensive approach to all ground safety.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher.Minimum three years technical writing experience (policies, procedures, instructions).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Preferred experience overseeing regulatory compliance and interacting with customers and regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, DOD).Preferred experience gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).Preferred experience demonstrating creative, critical thinking, and trouble shooting skills. Preferred experience maintaining compliance with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Instruction 8210.1, Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 25, or other U.S. Government Federal Regulations
