Boeing’s Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI)/LeanProject Management Specialist to join our Value Stream Integration-Program Management Office (PMO) team in any of the following locations Everett;Renton; or Seattle, WA.

This role will manage projects that include Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) model delivery, data platform deployments, automation and process optimization, organizational change for AI adoption, vendor/partner engagements, and governance across asset-intensive environments.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads AI strategy, workflow integration, and adoption technology within GREF, advising leaders on how AI and existing enterprise tools can be leveraged to improve business outcomes and operational effectivenessEnsures GREF initiatives align with Enterprise Services and Boeing’s broader AI strategy, governance, and adoption objectives while identifying scalable opportunities to optimize workflows and ways of workingDrives continuous process improvement and captures lessons learned specific to AI initiativesLeads all phases of highly complex AI and data programs from initiation through closeout, directing cross-functional teams across multiple organizations and geographiesCoordinates data governance, model validation, testing, and compliance activities to ensure regulatory, security, and ethical AI requirements are met, while providing program governance including status briefings, executive reports, decision logs, model/version change control, and escalationDevelops, maintains, integrates and analyzes program-level plans and schedules in accordance with Boeing Project Management Best Practices (PMBP) practices and AI delivery best practicesDesigns and executes integration strategies for plans, schedules, model lifecycle management, change control and baseline management across the program lifecycleServes as primary project/program contact to establish stakeholder requirements for AI solutions (data, performance, explainability, security), define scope, and align objectives across internal and external stakeholders; obtain approvals and authorize resource commitmentsIdentifies Risks, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) specific to AI projects (data quality, model drift, explainability, vendor risk); performs high-level studies/analyses (trend, variance, impact); refines business cases; develops and implements mitigation and contingency plansPrepares white papers and executive presentations to communicate program status, metrics, model performance and recommendationsEnsures project control systems are in place and integrate data for decision makers (schedules, cost/scope tracking, model performance metrics, and reporting)Consults on and recommends best practice tools, processes and techniques for integrated planning, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), model lifecycle management, and baseline/change managementCoordinates contractual and strategic commitments with internal and external partners (cloud providers, AI vendors, system integrators) to meet program objectivesLeads, mentors and influences others (formally or informally)Provides strategic consulting and implementation guidance to help leaders evaluate, prioritize, and responsibly integrate AI-enabled solutions that drive measurable value

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher5+ years of experience developing and supporting project plans through the full project life cycle5+ years of experience in the implementation and use of Project Management Best Practices (PMBP) along with processes and methods5+ years of experience with AI/ML and generative AI lifecycle concepts, including model development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, change management, documentation, and data governance5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership5+ years of experience presenting and communicating data in senior leadership briefings5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams5+ years of experience using Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

MBA or equivalent advanced degreeProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certificationExperience with AI/ML concepts, MLOps, data engineering, model validation, and monitoringExperience in real estate, facilities, asset-intensive or regulated environmentsExperience with global programs and ability to lead initiatives across geographic locationsExperience in influencing and leading senior leaders at the executive levelExperience with Lean, Agile, DevOps or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data governance frameworks, and AI ethical principles
