The Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) team within Boeing’s Enterprise Artificial Intelligence & Data Organization is seeking a Senior Agent-to-Agent and Model Context Protocol Developer to join us in North Charleston, SC; Hazelwood, MO; Tukwila, WA; Chicago, IL; Arlington, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; or Dallas, TX.

We are looking for agents to securely act across enterprise systems and workflows. This role will focus on designing and building the technical integrations, service interfaces, and control patterns that allow AI agents to communicate with one another and interact safely with Boeing systems, data, and enterprise applications. Working closely with architects, developers, security partners, and business stakeholders, this individual will help turn agentic AI concepts into dependable, production-ready capabilities.

This position requires strong software development skills, a solid understanding of enterprise integration, and the ability to work in fast-paced, short-duration engagements. The Developer will contribute to the implementation of agent interaction patterns, context exchange mechanisms, and tool connectivity approaches that support secure, governed execution across systems. The work will involve building and testing complex code, supporting application design decisions, resolving technical issues, and ensuring solutions align with enterprise requirements for security, reliability, and maintainability. This is a hands-on technical role suited for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and helping build the connective tissue that allows agentic AI to operate effectively across Boeing’s digital environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, and implement software components that enable secure agent-to-agent communication and enterprise system interaction

Build integrations that support Model Context Protocol-based connectivity between agents, tools, and enterprise services

Analyze business and technical requirements to define secure and reliable agent interaction patterns

Develop application logic, APIs, and supporting components for agent orchestration and enterprise workflow execution

Troubleshoot and resolve complex programming, integration, and application design issues

Collaborate with architects and security partners to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for access, control, and auditability

Modify and enhance existing applications to support agentic AI capabilities and enterprise interoperability

Document code, integration patterns, and technical solutions for maintainability and handoff

Recommend improvements to system architecture, integration design, and development practices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in software/application development process, including productionizing and deployment

5+ years of experience with Cloud native development

5+ years of experience with application integration, APIs and Microservices

5+ years of experience with system architecture

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field

Experience with agentic AI systems, agent orchestration, or secure AI workflow design

Experience with Agent-to-Agent communication patterns or Model Context Protocol implementations

Experience building integrations across enterprise applications, cloud services, or APIs

Experience with secure access patterns, identity management, or authorization frameworks

Experience working in agile delivery environments with frequent prioritization changes

Experience supporting enterprise-scale systems in a complex organizational environment

Strong troubleshooting skills in application, integration, or runtime issues

Experience with modern programming languages and software development frameworks

Experience with production support, deployment processes, and software documentation practices

Experience with strong collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Summary pay range: $136,850 – $197,800
