Our mandate is simple – help customers solve their most complex secure communications challenges, from disconnected tactical environments to multi-jurisdictional coalition operations.
We are seeking a Principal Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist to own and execute GTM strategy, planning, and field engagement to drive customer adoption of AWS Wickr. In this role, you will develop and execute GTM motions aligned to high-priority customer segments including U.S. Department of Defense, National Security, Federal Civilian agencies, State & Local Government, International Public Sector markets, and Regulated Industries. You will partner closely with sales, solutions architecture, business development, product, and marketing teams to accelerate adoption, revenue growth, and customer success.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in GTM strategy and execution, with experience engaging with senior customer stakeholders, building compelling value propositions, and driving cross-functional alignment across product, field, and partner teams. You should have demonstrated success in leading GTM execution for emerging or scaling products, ideally in SaaS, security, or communications technologies.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute GTM plans for AWS Wickr across key public sector segments and mission use cases.
- Partner with sales, BD, and solution architecture teams to identify and accelerate top opportunities.
- Define customer value propositions and competitive positioning to differentiate Wickr in the secure communications market.
- Drive field enablement: create and deliver sales plays, solution briefs, training materials, and executive-ready collateral.
- Lead outbound initiatives (campaigns, events, partner activations) to drive awareness and adoption.
- Work with AWS marketing and PR teams to amplify messaging through digital, social, and event channels.

A day in the life
As a Principal GTM Specialist, you’ll spend your day working cross-functionally to accelerate Wickr adoption. You may start by aligning with sales on top opportunities, then partner with solution architects to refine messaging for a mission-critical use case. Midday, you could deliver an enablement session to equip field teams with new sales plays, followed by customer or partner meetings to shape joint GTM strategies. You’ll close the day analyzing adoption metrics, capturing field feedback, and driving insights back into product and marketing plans—all with the goal of helping customers securely communicate and collaborate.
