The mission of the WW Enterprise Segment team is to help customers drive innovation and efficiency by developing impactful programs leveraging the capabilities of the AWS platform.

As a global business development leader for the Enterprise Segment, you will have an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a global AWS strategy to help Enterprises realize business value with AWS. You will identify customer needs, work with teams who build the solutions, and build scalable programs to address these customers’ business needs (or work with other teams who own programs to drive business requirements to better serve Enterprise customers). You will work closely with our Enterprise account teams across the AWS Sales organization, and must be comfortable working with cross-functional teams across geographies.

You will need to find the right balance between business needs versus constraints and should thrive in a fast-paced environment. You also must be able to manage through ambiguity, complexity, and invent and simplify processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective verbal and written communications skills, and have strong senior stakeholder engagement (across geographies). You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business challenges, with the ability to work across organizational boundaries.

Key job responsibilities

• Drive/ refine the AWS strategy for the Enterprise Business including working across AWS sales, marketing, partner, and professional services teams, across geographies.

• Identify and build solutions and/or programs, working closely with business development leads, account leaders and the wider teams across Amazon to ensure alignment to the Enterprise strategy.

• Develop go-to-market plans for Enterprise programs, which may include workshops, solutions blueprints, internal and external collateral, POCs, incentives, and success measures, etc.

• Develop, pilot, and scale growth programs in the field working with sales enablement, regional business development teams, partners, and account teams.

• Manage solutions-led growth programs, assess performance, pivot and evolve programs based on results to improve performance.

• Conduct customer briefings, present at customer events, further AWS thought leadership.

• Contribute to annual strategy planning, including working with teams (e.g., Sales, Partners, Finance, Services, Marketing)

• Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market

• Demonstrate analytical aptitude, with experience in analyzing data and trends to identify opportunities to simplify or improve customer experiences

Qualifications

- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent

- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent



Extended Qualifications

- 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
