This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of an emerging and fast growing space that will have a significant impact on our customer’s data and analytics strategies, which are foundational for any current and future GenAI workloads. As part of our Worlwide Specialist Organization you will identify and pursue new Analytics market opportunities, create and deliver sales programs that have broad revenue impact, expand strategic partner and distribution channels, and implement new solutions to help customers adopt AWS Data Integration Services. Close alignment with the Data Integration Service team, including product management team and the development engineers, is required to translate technical product capabilities into business solutions that can create customer value across a variety of geographical and vertical markets.

This role requires a self-starter with an analytical mind. You'll work on the forefront of the latest innovations and technologies with a diverse set of customers, opportunities and markets as part of a team focused on increasing adoption of AWS Streaming and Analytics products and services.

Key job responsibilities

As a Sr. WW Specialist responsible for the Analytics Streaming Services, you will work closely with the Service teams to develop the go-to-market strategy and associated programs to help customers adopt Amazon’s Kinesis and Amazon’s MSK Services. Key to success is experience developing highly scalable programs that can be adopted by the broader AWS Field, as well as expertise partnering with development teams to shape the future of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain, thinking through challenges on a 1-3+ year time scale.

Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.

Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.

Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.

Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.

Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience

- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience

- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences

- 5+ years of experience with Streaming and Analytics technology



Extended Qualifications

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers

- Experience negotiating complex deals with customers and partners or equivalent

- Experience developing and executing sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
