Description
Are you interested in shaping the future of entertainment experiences?Prime Video is redefining how customers discover, follow, and engage with the content they love from premium movies and series to live sports, breaking news, and emerging interactive viewing experiences. As our platform evolves beyond traditional browsing and playback, we are creating new ways for customers to follow stories, moments, and rituals that matter most to them.
The Prime Video Content Experiences team is seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Senior UX Designer to help define the future of live and immersive entertainment experiences, with a strong focus on sports and rapid experimentation.
This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor who thrives in ambiguity, combines strong product thinking with exceptional interaction design craft, and is excited by the opportunity to prototype and shape entirely new customer experiences. You will work across multiple initiatives as a floating senior designer, partnering closely with product, engineering, research, and design leadership to bring concepts to life quickly and validate them through rapid experimentation.
You are equally comfortable defining long-term experience vision, building high-fidelity prototypes, and influencing cross-functional teams through strong customer-centered thinking. You believe design is not only about what customers see, but how experiences adapt, respond, and create meaning in real time.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead UX design across high-impact initiatives within the Content Experiences space, with a strong focus on sports, live events, and emerging interaction models
- Translate ambiguous product opportunities into clear customer problems, use cases, and experience frameworks
- Design end-to-end customer journeys, interaction models, wireframes, visual mocks, and production-ready specifications
- Rapidly prototype concepts using modern design and prototyping tools, including AI-assisted workflows and emerging experience-building platforms
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers early in concept development to shape hypotheses and test ideas quickly
- Drive systems-level thinking across experiences that span browse, detail, playback-adjacent, and live surfaces
- Influence roadmap direction through customer insights, design strategy, and experimentation learnings
- Present and socialize work confidently with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Help evolve how design operates within an AI-accelerated and rapid prototyping environment
- Contribute to design excellence by mentoring peers and raising the bar for craft, systems thinking, and customer obsession
A day in the life

The next, you may be building an interactive prototype to test a new discovery pattern, or working with engineers to bring an experimental concept to life through rapid prototyping tools.
You will operate as a strategic senior IC across multiple workstreams, helping the team move quickly from early ideas to validated customer experiences. This role requires strong collaboration with product, engineering, research, and fellow designers, as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity through design.
