The Serviceability TPM will serve as a technical resource in the development of maintenance programs for mechanical equipment within AWS Data Centers. This individual will be responsible for driving large-scale global projects and initiatives that directly impact availability for our customers. They will continually improve existing programs, while at the same time solve new problems. The role will require an individual who is comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous space and can deliver and define solutions to problems. They will be capable of growing and adapting their skill sets as the team scope changes. It will be expected that this individual is capable of writing one to six page narratives on efforts and present, both written and verbal, up to the Director level.

A day in the life
In this role, you will own the development and implementation of global standards for mechanical systems across AWS Data Centers. As data center builds scale rapidly with new technologies across the fleet, you will define global serviceability requirements including maintenance, spares, training and certification requirements. You will coordinate with Field Engineering and product teams and drive operational readiness for new deployments to ensure mechanical infrastructure is maintained safely and reliably at global scale
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in preventative maintenance systems- Experience automating processes and defining business requirements for software developers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
