Description

Lead a dynamic engineering team responsible for Amazon's strategic integration with third-party agentic platforms, building the next generation of on-site and off-site commerce experiences. As a technical leader, you'll drive the architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of platform interfaces and customer experiences that seamlessly bridge external agentic environments with Amazon's core services.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring technical programs for an engineering organization of 40 people within one of three specialized teams. Your day-to-day will involve making critical technical architecture decisions and establishing engineering standards that shape how Amazon integrates with external platforms.

Working closely with Product, Design, and external platform teams, you'll define and drive the technical roadmap for your programs. A key focus will be overseeing the development of robust, scalable APIs and integration layers that connect Amazon's services with third-party platforms or on-site/off-site customer experiences. You'll establish metrics and operational excellence practices to ensure our integrated experiences maintain high availability and performance standards.

Your role will require you to navigate complex technical and business partnerships with external platform providers, while managing relationships with critical internal partners such as Search, Personalization, and other core service teams. You'll drive innovation in the agentic commerce space through rapid experimentation and data-driven decision making, always keeping customer experience at the forefront of your team's efforts.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- 5+ years of software development experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules



Extended Qualifications

- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
