Description
Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. We are looking for a motivated and autonomous builder to deliver results to our customers. This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from strategic planning, to business requirements definition, to system testing/training. Cross-functional team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and operating in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment, operating in all levels of the organization. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be balancing multiple priorities and coordinating across multiple levels of leadership.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead improvements to SAP/EWM, including its integration with ERP, TMS, and other warehouse systems, optimizing the overall user experience (UX).
- Deep dive into SAP EWM S/4HANA and other warehouse inventory and transportation management systems, identify bottlenecks, and work with warehouse technicians to understand the voice of the customer.
- Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements, define roadmaps, and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Evaluate and deploy best-in-class technologies to transform overall warehouse capabilities, streamline business processes, productivity and reduce defects.
- Drive efficiency and quality through process-focused approaches, process improvement initiatives and root cause/corrective action exercises.
- Partner with other technical program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones, and drive delivery.
- Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate.
- Coordinate and manage testing (UAT), WMS training, and change management activities.
- Define and enforce SAP best practices, standards, and governance across project lifecycles.
- Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert (SME) in warehouse logistics, automation, and digital supply chain strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations or related field
- 3+ years of experience with SAP/EWM/S4 Hana
- Experience using data and metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Experience in leading large-scale WMS implementation or optimization projects
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution processes
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Technical proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visual Basic for Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations or related field
- 5+ years of process design and improvements experience, including value-stream mapping
- Familiarity with integration points between WMS and ERP, TMS, automation systems (AS/RS, conveyors, RF, etc.).
- Experience in UX research, design and related fields
- Experience using project management applications - Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, Asana, etc.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, and/or Consumer Electronics industries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
