Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

The Kuiper Electronic Supply Chain team is seeking a Sr Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead improvements to our Supply Chain Systems (ERP, supplier portal, internal dashboards, etc).

The successful candidate will partner closely with our Enterprise Technology, Data Visualization, and Supply Chain teams to capture requirements, define and prioritize needed system updates and improvements, project manage implementation of changes across the Supply Chain teams that are necessary to maintain and improve the Kuiper Supply Chain Management and Visibility tools.

The candidate will additionally act as a System Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Supply Chain team in the use of these tools including providing training, writing process documentation, and ensuring systems operate as expected.

Key job responsibilities

-Coordinate with multiple internal procurement teams to define and document product requirements

-Partner with Enterprise Technology and/or Data Visualization teams to develop solutions to meet product requirements

-Work with stakeholders to prioritize system functionality improvements

-Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation activities for new tools, processes, and changes within the Supply Chain team

-Support the Supply Chain team with training and act as a resource for team member questions as needed

-Proactively identify system needs for the Supply Chain team based available information

-Develop and publish a Supply Chain Systems capability roadmap to support long term planning.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

- 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- In depth experience with ERP and other Supply Chain systems



Extended Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

- 3+ years of software development experience

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

- Experience in supply chain operations including purchasing and supplier/vendor management

- Experience in Product Management for an internal use software product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
