Description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

As a Technical Program Manager of Storage and Memory Qualifications, you will be leading the program management of AWS Infrastructure qualification projects that will revolutionize industries across the globe. In this role, you will wear many hats. You must possess a unique combination of the hardware and design experience of a software development manager, together with customer and business acumen, and a do-what-it-takes approach to providing whatever is needed to make your program successful.

You will need to be a strong leader, able to communicate clearly with conviction at all levels of the company. You don’t just want to be part of an industry movement; you want to be out front leading it. If this sounds like you, we’d like to speak with you. We are pioneering; come join us!

We look for people who are capable and passionate in the following areas:

- Identifying and understanding opportunity, developing requirements, building roadmaps, and executing on business and engineering plans.

- Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management and making trade offs; encouraging risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit while identifying inter dependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems.

- Evangelizing within and outside Amazon to encourage a fast and smooth adoption of products and programs.

- Program leadership of computer systems, storage systems, storage devices, or related field

- Experience coordinating cross functional teams in both hardware and software engineering

- Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules
