Description

AWS Marketplace Science is looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive operational excellence across our AI evaluation and science programs. You will be the connective tissue between science, engineering, and product teams, owning end-to-end program execution for initiatives that shape how we build, evaluate, and launch AI-powered experiences for AWS customers. This is a high-impact role on a growing team where you'll design scalable mechanisms, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure our AI programs deliver measurable results. We're looking someone at the intersection of strategic thinking and reliable execution in a fast-paced AI/ML environment.

Key job responsibilities

Serve as the operational lead for AI evaluation programs, driving framework adoption across engineering teams through onboarding, consultation, and stakeholder coordination

Own end-to-end operations for research programs that collect and manage human expert annotations at scale, including study design, participant coordination, and global logistics

Drive go/no-go launch decisions by coordinating cross-functional readiness reviews and authoring launch communications

Manage project tracking and milestone reporting across multiple concurrent science workstreams, maintaining visibility for leadership and stakeholders

About the team

The AMPS Science team is an applied science organization embedded within AWS Marketplace & Partner Services Engineering. We build AI/ML-powered recommendation, discovery, and evaluation systems that serve AWS Marketplace customers and partners at scale.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules



Extended Qualifications

- Experience with AI/ML systems, agentic architectures, or applied machine learning programs

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
