Description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.Amazon is looking for a passionate Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Energy, Carbon and Cost Optimization team within AWS Global Sustainability. This team builds the digital backbone that enables Amazon's data centers to be powered by Carbon Free Energy in support of reaching Net Zero by 2040. The solutions created by this team manage and optimize the performance of AWS's electricity generation and consumption.
As a TPM on the team you will lead cross org programs with energy, sustainability and finance teams. You will accelerate the development of internal products necessary to efficiently scale with AWS's business. The role will identify areas of improvement and develop novel solutions to meet our internal and external customer needs.
The ideal candidate strives in fast pace and ambiguous environments. They prefer high levels of ownership and effectively collaborate with engineering, science and business partners. They combine a range of execution skills with a passion to accelerate the energy transition.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience or interest in working on sustainability or the energy transition
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries
- Experience working in Corporate Sustainability

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
