Description

The Prime Air drone software team is seeking an experienced engineering leader who combines superb technical and leadership abilities to drive planning and delivery of our drone vehicle software roadmap. A successful candidate will be comfortable working with a team of top-notch engineers and collaborating with our systems, scientist, test, safety, and security teams. Key job responsibilities

- Work with customers, stakeholders, and leadership to develop prioritized roadmaps that align with customer benefits and program goals

- Partner with other engineering leaders to align resources

- Manage and drive development and release for multiple software baselines

- Set up mechanisms to manage programs and generate appropriate status and visibility across all activities



Qualifications

- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- 5+ years of software development experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules



Extended Qualifications

- Experience leading teams that deliver DO-178C certified systems

- Experience leading teams in aerospace or other safety critical industry

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
