The Amazon Advertising team is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead strategic programs focused on Salesforce and 1st-party applications in our advertising sales planning ecosystem. This role requires deep technical knowledge, a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a track record of driving large-scale sales-focused programs. As a TPM, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing integration strategies, influencing both technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring seamless scalability to support our global operations.

Advertising Sales Tech organization enables these Sales teams to devote more time and focus to growing Amazon’s advertising partnerships and less to manual planning tasks by empowering individual reps with tools, analytics, and processes that let them manage their business efficiently even at enterprise scale. Salesforce and 1st-party applications, form the cornerstone of our sales technology stack. This comprehensive platform empowers sales team members to efficiently manage the entire sales planning and in-year management process from account assignments to quota distribution.

Key job responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with Amazon Advertising’s long-term business and technical goals.

• Stakeholder Influence: Partner with senior leaders, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, drive consensus, and deliver impactful solutions that scale globally.

• Solution Architecture: Collaborate with engineering, product, GTM, Salesforce administrators to design and implement scalable, and efficient system architectures.

• Data-Driven Decisions: Define KPIs and metrics to measure program success, identify areas for improvement, and provide transparent, actionable updates to leadership through detailed reporting and insights.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the key connection point between engineering, business teams, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and seamless execution.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design

- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

- Experience with AWS or cloud technologies

- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

- Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously



Extended Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
