Description
Amazon is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager(TPM) to join a highly innovative team within Amazon's Ads business.The Amazon Publisher Monetization team is charged with inventing new advertising experiences for advertisers. This is a unique opportunity for someone interested in working in an entrepreneurial environment within a large company where teams experiment, fail fast, learn, and scale rapidly. The right candidate will possess a strong technical program management background, and have demonstrated experience leading large programs.
As a leader on the team you will own and drive projects across teams within Amazon advertising. Responsibilities include collection of business and systems requirements, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch. You will lead and coordinate design and implementation efforts collaborating across multiple teams to develop optimal solutions in an agile environment. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal) with senior management on status, risks and strategy. Qualified candidates must have experience collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features; as well as analyze the cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
