Join Amazon Leo as a Principal Technical Program Manager driving innovative eCommerce solutions from concept to launch in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. You'll lead critical user acceptance testing and product launch initiatives for Amazon Leo, working at the intersection of technology, product development, and business operations. This role requires exceptional technical program management skills to navigate complex cross-functional dependencies while maintaining rapid delivery cadence.

Your expertise in driving 0-1 product launches will be instrumental as you collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders across Amazon's ecosystem. You'll leverage strong product sense and technical acumen to resolve ambiguities, create scalable processes, and ensure successful delivery of foundational eCommerce features and customer experiences that define Amazon Leo's future.

Key job responsibilities

Define business and technical requirements while clarifying ambiguities, establishing delivery scope, timeline, roadmap and milestones for Amazon Leo product launches

Drive user acceptance testing execution and launch readiness across engineering, product, and business partners including accounting, legal, finance, and compliance teams

Make appropriate trade-offs between opportunity, resources, and timeline while optimizing return-on-investment in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Communicate project status and technical decisions to senior leadership through executive forums, working backward reviews, and bi-weekly business reviews

Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and roadblocks; initiate technical deep dives and organize working sessions to solve problems and unblock teams.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

A day in the life

Your day begins with coordinating UAT execution activities across engineering, product, and business partners for upcoming Leo product launches. You'll participate in technical and product meetings to disambiguate complex functional requirements and ensure test readiness. Afternoons involve status reporting to executive leadership, creating documentation for program reviews and monthly business / roadmap reviews, and planning exercises with your team. Throughout the day, you'll establish mechanisms to unblock cross-functional dependencies and maintain the rapid delivery pace essential in this startup-like environment.
